This Sports Journalism course is currently accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) which is made up of representatives from the BBC, ITV and Sky. You will have the opportunity to gain work experience. Students have worked in the media departments of clubs such as Preston North End FC, Manchester United FC and Chelsea FC during their studies. Also, students have had other opportunities to work alongside professional sports journalists are which are offered thanks to the course s excellent relationships with the BBC, the Rugby Football League, Wigan Warriors and many more organisations.
