Program Overview

Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences (SEMS) is a novel degree programme that bridges traditional biomedical science and sports science degrees with the newest and growing medical specialty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM). Students will learn about human body systems in health and disease as well as in sport and exercise performance; prevention and treatment of medical conditions through physical activity; and critical research skills.

IELTS- standard level overall grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6 in each of the subjects/good level overall grade of 7 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subjects/advanced level overall grade of 7.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subjects. TOEFL - standard level score of 92 overall with 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening/ good level score of 100 overall with 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening/ advanced level score of 109 overall 24/30 in reading and writing and 20/30 in speaking and listening. A Levels - Grades :AAA-AAB : Subjects:Biology and Chemistry required. GCSEs: English language and Mathematics at grade B or 6: Points -36-38, Subjects - A score of 17-18 points in three higher level subjects, with no score below 5.
