Campuses

University College London is primarily based in the Bloomsbury area of the London Borough of Camden, in Central London. The main campus is located around Grower Street and includes the UCL faculty of engineering Sciences, economics, geography, history, languages, mathematics, management and philosophy departments. 

The area around Queen Square in Bloomsbury close by to the main campus is a hub for brain-related research and healthcare, with the UCL institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and UCL Institute of Neurology. 

Libraries

The University College London library system comprises 17 libraries located across several sites within the main UCL campus and across Bloomsbury, linked together by a central networking catalogue and request system called Explore. The libraries contain a total of over 2 million books. The largest library is the UCL Main Building and contains collections relating to the arts and humanities, economics, history, law and public policy.

Housing services

All first-year undergrduate students and overseas first-year postgraduate at UCL are guranteed university accommodation. 1. The Denys Holland Scholarship at University College London

The Denys Netherlands Scholarship aims to support undergraduate students from any country, who is without the support of the scholarship would be unable to secure the funding needed to study at UCL, and who will demonstrate their intention to create full use of the activities offered by UCL and the student union.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines

Applicants should meet the following criteria: 

• Holding a legitimate UCL Student number

• Holding a legitimate UCAS Application number (not UCAS Registration number)

• Holding an offer of admission to UCL for full-time undergraduate study commencing in Sept, in any department;

• In financial need;

• Able to demonstrate that they have broad interests and will be actively concerned in and contribute to the life of the university;

• Ideally aged 25 or below at the time of commencing their studies.
