Curriculum Structure

Year 1

You’ll start with the basics—getting a feel for how the events, hospitality, and tourism industries work together on a global scale. With modules like Introduction to International Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Marketing, and The Business of Festivals and Events, you’ll explore how events are planned and promoted, and learn how to work with people from all over the world.

Year 2

This is where you start getting hands-on. You’ll take a deep dive into designing and delivering real events in Festival & Event Design and Delivery, explore how tourism and sport events overlap, and learn how to manage hospitality systems behind the scenes. It’s all about turning ideas into experiences that work in the real world.

Year 3

By now, you’ll be ready to take on bigger challenges. You’ll learn how to lead teams, manage conferences and exhibitions (MICE events), and explore how hospitality businesses grow. You can even choose to work on a live industry project or take a 24-week placement to get real-world experience and make valuable connections.

Year 4

In your final year, you’ll bring everything together. You’ll tackle big topics like sustainability, innovation and leadership in the global events space, and get to specialise in what excites you most.
