Program Overview

If you’re fascinated by travel, culture, and the inner workings of airlines, this is the program for you. It blends Tourism Management and Airline Operations, giving you the skills to create seamless travel experiences and manage global tourism with confidence.

Curriculum Structure

Year 1

You’ll kick things off by exploring the fundamentals of tourism and business, with modules like Introduction to International Hospitality, Tourism & Events, Intercultural and Organisational Management, and The Global Tourism Industry. You’ll start understanding how tourism and airline industries connect, and how destinations and services are organised and marketed worldwide.

Year 2

In your second year, you’ll focus on the nuts and bolts of running tourism and airline operations. With modules like Airport Management, Transport for Tourism, and Visitor Attraction Management, you’ll learn how to create smooth, memorable experiences for travelers while also exploring marketing, HR, and research tools that keep operations running efficiently.

Year 3

Now it’s time to broaden your horizons. Modules like International Tourism Policy and Planning and Global Airline Industry give you a big-picture view of the field. You’ll also get practical experience through a live project or a 24-week work placement, so you can apply your learning in real-world situations and gain confidence working in the industry.

Year 4

In your final year, you’ll step into a leadership mindset. Modules such as Airline Strategy and Marketing and Airline Management help you develop advanced skills, and your dissertation allows you to explore a topic you’re passionate about—whether it’s innovative airline tech, sustainable tourism, or global travel trends.
