3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
Enrolling in the BA Creative Writing and Journalism program will provide you with a comprehensive foundation in language and communication through various creative and journalistic genres and media forms. This program will also connect you with employment opportunities in the media, journalism, and literary industries.
During the first year of the program, you will be introduced to crucial skills in both journalism and creative writing, which can be utilized across different media platforms. This includes narrative storytelling, character development, dialogue, conflict, and finding your voice.
In the second year, you will have the chance to enhance your creative abilities in fields like fiction, scriptwriting (with the possibility of having your script transformed into a short film by BA Film students), storytelling for games, and further develop your journalistic knowledge and skills in various media types such as print, broadcast, online, mobile, and emerging technologies.
The third year of the program will offer you the opportunity to work independently on a project, and you can also boost your chances of employability by participating in the innovative Working as Writer module.
A level's with BBC grades. 112 UCAS Tariff Points including GCSE: Grade 4/C in English and Mathematics. BTEC DMM Good grades in IB is accepted. You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all components).
