This course combines multi-disciplinary training in radio, TV, newspaper, magazine, and online journalism with academic study and aims to provide a critical understanding of the professional skills required of a journalist. This is a course that introduces and develops the skills that are vital to careers in journalism in a world where communication technologies play an increasingly central role. The practical skills are enhanced by professional work placements alongside academic study including law and ethics.
