BA Journalism and Modern Languages allow you to expand your multimedia skills whilst developing fluency in new languages.Through the modern languages component of this course, you have the opportunity to choose from French, German, Italian, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. This is intertwined with the practical journalism aspect of this course; where you develop your skills in using multi-media channels such as radio, television and online media and deepen your knowledge of journalism on an international scale You have the flexibility to choose the areas of the subject that most interest you and to explore global cultures alongside the native language.

Additional Information & Requirements

Should have atleast A Level or equivalent(ABB, or the equivalent in UCAS tariff points, to include 2 full A Levels), IB: 32 points or three Higher Level certificates with 655, including a Higher Level essay based subject grade 5. BTEC qualification-MMP (in relevant subject), International Baccalaureate Diploma and Certificates,QAA-approved Access to HE Diplomas, a minimum of two full A-levels and five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or equivalent, you'll be required to write a personal statement UCAS application, Certified copy of your complete list of grade, IELTS score of 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, TOEFL (iBT) with 76 overall, with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing, PTE 51 overall, with a minimum of 51 in each component, A score of 169 overall on the Cambridge English Scale, with a minimum of 162 in each component.
