University of Essex History

University of Essex is a British public higher education establishment with campuses located in Colchester, Southend, and Loughton in Essex, England. The university was established in 1963 by a Royal Charter and is one of the Plate Glass Universities in the UK. The university currently enrols over 14500 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
