Program Overview

The BSc (Hons) Dental Studies (Dental Care Professionals) provides academic development opportunities for dental hygienists and dental therapists, through a flexible, supportive and challenging series of specialised modules. Dental Studies course aims to develop professional knowledge and skills in a structured higher education environment, with a view to enabling participants to take a well-informed and active role in improving the oral health of the population. The course also aims to raise critical appreciation of the political, legal and ethical framework within which dental care is practised. You will also be given an opportunity for in-depth study into core areas of interest. Final year only for qualified Dental Hygienists/Dental Hygiene/Therapists.
