This degree program in health and social care has a unique approach that considers global issues and trends in the field. Through this program, you will analyze challenges related to inequality, exploitation, and oppression in order to develop sustainable solutions that address identified needs.
The program places a strong emphasis on promoting wellbeing for practitioners, individuals, and communities, and incorporates new technologies and cross-cultural perspectives. Research is a key component of the program.
The program is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), an organization that partners with educational institutions to develop effective managers and leaders. As a student, you will receive free CMI membership, which includes access to a variety of resources and events that can support your studies and professional development, including opportunities to network with potential employers and business professionals. Your CMI membership will be valid for one year after graduation.
- Applicants will normally need to have GCSEs including English at Grade C/4 or above.
- IELTS 6.0 overall
In addition, you will need one of the following qualifications (or equivalents):
- A Levels at CCC or above
- BTEC graded DMM in a related subject
- T Level at Pass (C and above)
- Alternative level 3 qualifications, such as Access to Higher Education, International Baccalaureate will also be considered
