Our Medical Genetics programme, taught jointly by Queen Mary University of London's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences, is a unique opportunity to study medical topics within the context of classical, chromosomal, population and molecular genetics.You’ll build a strong scientific understanding of the genetic and molecular basis of human health, development and disease, and explore the evolution of diseases within human populations. You’ll study the mitochondrial and human genomes in depth and be introduced to medical research, genetic counselling and bioethics.
70% from CBSE/ISC, 65% from West Bengal Board, 75% from Other Boards in 12th Standard. A Levels: BBB including B or above in Biology, IB: HL 30 points / 555 at Higher Level including 5 or above in HL Biology. IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall including 6.0 in Writing, and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking
