This course will help you develop into a competent midwife who s able to work as a team member or leader. Your time will be divided equally between classroom study and supervised placements. You ll learn to assess individual women and to plan, implement and evaluate care that meets the needs of mother, baby and family. You ll recognise and respond to factors that affect the physical, emotional and social well-being of mothers and babies, too.
Minimum 120 UCAS Tariff point from a minimum of 3 A Levels (or equivalent)., International Baccalaureate Diploma 26 points. At IELTS 7.0 ( Academic level with a minimum of 7 in each component) or equivalent, HSC/Standard 12 with an overall average of 60% with at least 40% in a minimum of 5 subjects from any other exam board, DBS check, Interview, Personal statement required.
