This Midwifery course gives you the skills necessary to become a motivated, professional Midwife and leads to a dual award. As a Midwife your role goes much further than supporting women during the birth of their babies. We will prepare you for antenatal and postnatal care, counselling, in offering support and education, and in helping mothers and their partners to prepare for parenthood.
Successfully completed 12th Standard from CBSE/ICSE Board. Entry will vary depending on the course you wish to apply for, your Year 12 examination board, and subjects taken. A Levels: BCC to include English and a science subject. Biology, Human Biology or Psychology is recommended. Maths is required at GCSE grade 5/C or above if not held at A Level., IB Diploma: 27 to include Higher Level English and a science subject. Biology is recommended. Maths is required at Standard Level if not held at Higher. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) overall score of 7.0 with a score of 7.0 in all elements apart from writing where minimum score is 6.5.
