Year 2:

Modules such as Developing Adult Nursing Practice and Holistic Care of People with Complex Health Needs help you manage more challenging cases with confidence. You’ll also explore Global Health Nursing to understand healthcare in a wider context, and Critical Evaluation of Evidence-Based Care to learn how to apply research in real-world settings. More clinical placements ensure you continue developing your hands-on skills.

Year 3:
Your final year focuses on preparing you for professional practice. You’ll study Transition to Professional Practice to build leadership skills and prepare for registration, while Management and Care of People with Complex Health Needs helps you consolidate advanced clinical knowledge. The year ends with a long, supervised placement where you’ll demonstrate all the skills required to qualify as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
