The BSc Nursing Studies (Learning Disabilities) course has been specifically developed to equip you with the high level of knowledge and expertise required to successfully care for the needs of those with a learning disability. With a strong focus on understanding patients lifelong needs, you will possess an in-depth understanding of the transitions and communities of practice that ensure safe, effective and compassionate care. Delivered in their specialised clinical skills centre, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and training equipment that is at the forefront of the healthcare industry. You will also undertake a number of placements and have the option of applying for an international placement in the second year of your course.
Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC 65% and above, 120 UCAS Tariff points . From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent. Should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0 with 7.0 in each component (or an approved equivalent*). Applicants will be required to attend an interview. Admission is subject to a suitable DBS Enhanced Certificate and a satisfactory health check. Applicants must meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council's suitability for registration requirements.
