Curriculum structure

Foundation Year (Year 0)
The foundation year helps you get ready for degree-level study. You’ll explore the essentials of healthcare, ethics, and professional practice in modules like Developing the Fundamentals of a Healthcare Professional and Promotion of Contemporary Issues in Healthcare. This year gives you the knowledge and confidence to step into your nursing journey.

Year 1 (Level 4)
In your first year, you’ll start learning the core skills needed to care for adults in hospitals, clinics, and the community. Modules such as Fundamentals of Nursing Practice, Sciences for Nursing Practice, and Personal and Professional Development will teach you how to provide safe, effective care, understand the science behind nursing, and start reflecting on your professional growth.

Year 2 (Level 5)
Your second year takes you deeper into adult nursing. You’ll learn to manage more complex situations through modules like Applied Sciences for Nursing Practice and hands-on placements. You’ll also begin collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, building leadership skills, and taking on responsibility under supervision.

Year 3 (Final Year, Level 6)
