To do this, you will need to possess a range of specialist knowledge and skills, including strong and effective leadership skills to ensure people with learning disabilities receive high-quality care. This will include being able to work effectively and in partnership with the person with a learning disability, as well as with their family/carers and other health and social care professionals.
