Curriculum structure

Year 1:

Year 2:
In year two, you’ll expand your knowledge and develop more independence in clinical practice. Modules such as Clinical Sciences 2 – Application deepen your understanding of physiology, pharmacology, and therapeutic approaches, while Team Working and Developing Nursing Practice in Adult Health prepares you to care for adults with acute and long-term needs. Your Practice Learning Experience Part 2 placements give you more responsibility and a chance to apply your learning in real healthcare settings.

Year 3:
The final year is about consolidating your skills and preparing for professional practice. Through Enhancing Nursing Practice and Transition to Registrant in Adult Health, you’ll work with complex care cases and refine your clinical judgement. The Practice Inquiry Project allows you to lead a project linking evidence to real-world nursing decisions, and extended placements ensure you’re ready to confidently start your career as a registered nurse.

Professional alignment (accreditation):
This programme is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), so once you graduate you’ll be eligible to register as a professional nurse in the UK.
