Curriculum structure

Year 1
Your first year introduces you to the foundations of adult nursing. You’ll study modules such as Communication and Professional Values for Health and Well‑Being Across the LifespanPromoting Health and Well‑Being Across the Lifespan, and Human Anatomy and Physiology for Person Centred Care. Alongside these, Essential Skills for Practice Learning in Nursing 1 and Practice Learning in Nursing 1 give you early hands-on experience, helping you connect theory to real patient care.

Year 2
In your second year, you’ll deepen your clinical knowledge and confidence. You’ll continue developing your practical skills through practice learning placements in diverse healthcare settings, learning how to assess, plan, and deliver safe and compassionate care for a variety of adult health needs.

Year 3
Your final year focuses on preparing you for professional practice. Advanced placements mirror the complexity of adult healthcare environments, while academic modules cover leadership, evidence-based decision-making, and professional readiness. By the end of the year, you’ll graduate as a skilled, reflective, and confident nursing professional.
