Lincoln’s MSci Pharmaceutical Science with Business Management is a four-year integrated master’s degree that blends advanced drug development with real-world business strategy. Curriculum structure

Year 1
You’ll build a strong foundation in Fundamental Chemistry, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Introduction to Pharmaceutical Science. These modules introduce drug structure and function, cell biology, and global health challenges, preparing you to understand how medicines work and why they matter.

Year 2
You’ll explore Pharmaceutical Industry Concepts, Drug Development and Delivery, and Pharmacology and Toxicology. You’ll study immunology, formulation science, and analytical techniques while developing key industry skills in data handling, ethics, and critical analysis through case studies.

Year 3
This year focuses on Advanced Analytical Chemistry, Regulatory and Ethical Standards, and Pharmaceutical Science Integration. You’ll study medical microbiology, inflammation and immunity, and complete a major Research Project — applying your knowledge to solve real-world pharmaceutical problems.

Year 4
You’ll specialise in Advanced Drug Delivery and Nanomedicine, Business, Regulation and Ethics, and Project Management. You’ll also study Novel Therapies, Biological Assays, and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, while completing a final Research Thesis and gaining business insight through modules at Lincoln International Business School.
