Curriculum Structure

Year 1
You’ll build a strong foundation in pharmaceutical science and human biology. Core modules include Fundamentals of Pharmacy, Human Life Cycle, and Digestive System, where you’ll explore how medicines interact with the body and begin developing clinical communication skills.

Year 2
This year deepens your understanding of therapeutic areas and introduces prescribing principles. You’ll study modules like Cardiovascular and Respiratory Systems and Infection and Immunity, while gaining hands-on experience through simulated patient interactions and placements in community settings.

Year 3
You’ll integrate advanced clinical knowledge with professional practice. Modules such as Central Nervous System and Endocrine System focus on complex conditions and treatment strategies. You’ll also role-play interprofessional scenarios in the Professional Development Suite to sharpen your collaboration skills.

Year 4
Your final year prepares you for real-world pharmacy practice. You’ll complete a research project and study Advanced Pharmacy Practice and Patient-Centred Care, applying everything you’ve learned in hospital, GP, and community pharmacy placements.
