Operating department practitioners are key members of the surgical team, who respond to the physical and psychological needs of patients, throughout their surgical experience. You ll spend 50% of your time in clinical practice gaining hands-on experience and 50% will be spent in the classroom, including using our high specification clinical skills labs with interactive simulators creating realistic learning experiences.
