2 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
Veterinary nurses work alongside veterinary surgeons to provide nursing care to various animals, positively impacting their lives. The current shortage of qualified veterinary nurses in the UK means that there are excellent job prospects for graduates. Pursuing a top-up degree in veterinary nursing can further expand career opportunities.
During the top-up degree program, you will deepen your knowledge of the legal, professional, and ethical aspects of veterinary nursing and how they are applied in providing veterinary care. You will also learn about the research process and the application of evidence-based medicine to veterinary nursing.
The program will also explore the principles of pharmacology and how they relate to patient care, making you eligible for Companion Animal Suitably Qualified Person (C-SQP) status. In addition, the project and dissertation modules will allow you to focus on specific areas of interest, with the guidance of experienced tutors. The program offers a wide range of elective modules that can be studied in-depth.
