Program Overview

Our law program on human rights is an ideal choice for those who aspire to become a human rights lawyer. This course is designed to provide the initial stage of professional legal training.

In the first year of the course, you will cover topics such as English Legal System, Legal Method, Public Law, and Contract Law. In the second year, you will delve into Criminal Law, Tort, EU Law, and both UK and European Human Rights Law. The third year will concentrate on Land Law, Equity and Trusts, International Human Rights Law, and one optional module (for part-time students, these modules will be spread over four or six years).

Your understanding and knowledge will be enhanced through various modes of teaching, including lectures, seminars, workshops, and independent study using resources such as the library and e-learning. Additionally, you will develop practical and cognitive skills that are essential for this field.
