This course provides an in-depth approach to Biochemistry and the molecular aspects of cells. You will examine the key aspects of macromolecule and cell structure and function, and inter-relationships in both practical and theoretical contexts. 3rd in the UK for Bioscience students on year-long work placements (HESA 2017/18). You will also have the option to undertake a 12-month paid work placement in your third year. Our Placement Office and the School's excellent links with companies, including GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer, facilitate this.
A-levels BBB, excluding General Studies; or BTEC Extended Diploma DDM; or UCAS Tariff points from three A-levels or equivalent qualifications, excluding General Studies; and GCSEs English grade C / 4 and Maths grade B / 5 or Two year Post Tawjahiya from higher technical institutes or commercial institutes or two years diploma, OND / HND and associate degrees, IELTS of 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in each component, Personal Statement.
