Biomedical Science plays a crucial role in modern healthcare, collaborating with medical professionals and healthcare workers across different sectors like academia, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. As a graduate in Biomedical Science, you may contribute to disease diagnosis, aid clinical departments, and develop and evaluate new treatments to improve patient outcomes. This degree also serves as the foundation for graduate programs like medicine, dentistry, and the recently established Physician Associate program for clinical practice within the NHS.

The Biomedical Science BSc program has received accreditation from the Royal Society of Biology after a thorough and independent evaluation. Eligibility Criteria

Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer would be:

BCC at A Level or,
DMM at BTEC or,
Pass (C or above) at T Level

In addition, you are expected to have studied a science subject (preferably Biology or Human Biology) in an A Level at grade C or equivalent qualification.

Integrated Foundation Year (IFY) Entry Requirements

Admission to this foundation course is normally:

DEE at A Level or,
MPP at BTEC or,
Pass (D or E) at T Level

However, we would also like to hear from you if you have professional or industry experience instead, a range of other qualifications or self-developed subject knowledge that relates to the course you wish to study.

English Language Requirements

All International and EU students applying for a course with us must meet the following minimum English language requirements:

IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands
