Biology BSc

The program expands upon fundamental knowledge in cell biology, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, evolutionary biology, and biological techniques taught in the first year. This allows students to focus their studies based on their interests in the second and third years. They can choose from a variety of modules related to molecular biology, bioinformatics, ecology, and biodiversity.

Throughout the course, students will acquire transferable and biological skills necessary for a scientific profession. In the final year, they will be capable of conducting an individual research project, supervised by a knowledgeable academic in ecological, molecular, microbiological, or bioinformatics research. This research will enhance their personal flexibility and creativity while refining their organizational and project management skills. The project might lead to their contribution to scientific papers published in journals.
