The BSc in Behavioural Biology involves study at an advanced, research-led level and covers behavioural ecology, the mechanisms of animal behaviour, the processes of evolution and speciation, adaptive physiology of animals and animal cognition. Emphasis is given to current topics like cultural learning, animal communication and molecular ecology. Additional choices include marine biology, marine mammals, neuroscience, biodiversity and conservation, and animal-plant interactions.
A minimum average of 90% (with 90% or higher in any prerequisite subjects) in Standard XII examinations, or A1-A2 if you are taking examinations used by Central Boards, SQA Highers:AAAB, including Biology (or Human Biology) and one other science, GCE A-Levels: AAB, including Biology (or Human Biology) and one other science, IB points:36, including HL6 in Biology and HL6, IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum score of 6.0, TOEFL (IBT) of 92 overall with at least 20 in all components, CAE/CPE of 176, PTE (Academic) of 62 overall with at least 59 in each component
