University of St. Andrews is a Public and research university which was established in 1410. The university is Scotland's first university whereas third oldest in the English world.

University of St. Andrews comprises of four faculties: Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Divinity, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Science. Under these faculties, the university offers a variety of programs such as biology, chemistry, computer science, geosciences, mathematics, physics and astronomy, psychology and neuroscience, art history, classics, economics, English, film studies, history, international relations, management, modern languages, philosophy and many more.
