Are you passionate about science, and want a practical introduction that will help prepare you for your chosen degree pathway The course is designed to provide fundamental scientific knowledge and skills, to give you experience in a range of science fields before you choose your ultimate degree destination. These areas include Chemistry, Food Science and Forensic Science, establishing your laboratory skills, basic numeracy skills, data handling, ICT and study skills. Many of our student s report that, having completed this foundation course, they feel more confident and much better prepared to begin their chosen degree.
Standard XII/Class XII from CBSE, CISC 50% and above, 120 UCAS Tariff points . From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas, or the International Baccalaureate. GCSE Requirements: Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4/C, or an equivalent. Should have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or an approved equivalent*).
