Genetics is at the forefront of modern biology, driving progress in medicines and synthetics biology. New technologies in genetic manipulation, biotechnology and genomics allow you to explore the interaction betcourseen genomes and epigenetics that underpin the development of a complex living organism from a single cell.Teaching on our BSc Genetics course focuses on real-world biomedical applications, including how cells differentiate to form the specialised tissues present in complex organisms, and how the delicate regulation of cell growth can be disrupted and lead to cancer.

Additional Information & Requirements

Should have atleast A Level or equivalent(BBB, or the equivalent in UCAS tariff points, to include 2 full A Levels), BTEC qualification-MMP (in relevant subject), International Baccalaureate Diploma and Certificates,IB: 30 points or three Higher Level certificates with 555,QAA-approved Access to HE Diplomas, a minimum of two full A-levels and five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or equivalent, you'll be required to write a personal statement UCAS application, Certified copy of your complete list of grade, IELTS score of 6.0 overall , TOEFL (iBT) with 76 overall, with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing, PTE 51 overall, with a minimum of 51 in each component, A score of 169 overall on the Cambridge English Scale, with a minimum of 162 in each component.
