BA Social Anthropology is designed for imaginative, critical thinkers who are passionate about understanding why the world is as it is and about using the insights anthropology provides to make it better. You will explore the incredible diversity of human experience, and consider what it is universal to human societies and what is variable. You will examine how different political, legal, and economic systems influence people s beliefs, values and practices, and you will interrogate the very categories we use to describe the world with, such as gender, religion, race.
A level: grades A A B, International Baccalaureate: Diploma with 37 points including 6 6 6 at Higher level, Personal Statement, International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) Academic: A score of 7.0 in all four components (in one exam sitting only), GCSE English Language: Grade B or better, Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: A score of 65 in all four components (in one exam sitting only), TOEFL IBT (Internet based test): At least 107 overall with a minimum of 25 in each of the four components (in one exam sitting only), Trinity ISE (revised test): Level III overall with distinction in all components
