4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
This four-year programme is identical to the three-year degree, but includes a foundation year, and has a lower entry tariff. Forensic scientists utilise skills from a wide range of academic disciplines. This programme includes regular laboratory sessions, practical mock crime scenes and lectures. The criminology courses introduce the more social aspects of forensic science and the relationship between crime and society. Students are also exposed to other aspects such as crime scene investigation and presenting evidence in a legal setting.
A-level: 64 points from related science subjects, BTEC National: Extended Diploma in Applied Science, A-level and BTEC National: Diploma/Extended Certificate in Applied Science and 16 points from a related science subject, Plus GCSEs in English language and mathematics at grade 4 or above (grade C or above under the A*-G system), and one GCSE science subject at Grade C or above under the A*-G system, IELTS score of 6.0.
