BSc (Econ) Economics

3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

University College London

Program Overview

UCL Economics focuses on teaching students to apply economics independently rather than just learning theories. Alongside core modules, you can participate in optional academic support sessions to develop key skills for professional economists.

Taught by leading economists, your professors research critical issues like migration, inequality, and inflation. Many are directors of research centres and advisors to global institutions like the Bank of England and the World Bank. UCL Economics faculty have earned prestigious awards, including the ONS Research Excellence Award and the BBVA Foundation Frontiers Knowledge Award. Modules are worth 15 or 30 credits per year, leading to a total of 120 credits annually. After completing 360 credits, you’ll receive a BSc (Econ) (Hons) in Economics
