The Financial Economics and Banking BA deals with the fascinating world of pricing, interest rates and shares and how rational (or even irrational,) decisions affect them. You will explore the global role of these financial systems in modern economics and learn to analyse the impact of economic events on financial markets.This course introduces techniques of financial economics such as derivatives pricing, risk management methods and portfolio management.
A/AS-levels: ABB. Two AS-levels considered in place of one A-level. General Studies or Critical Thinking not included. Own language may be considered. International Baccalaureate:Pass Full Diploma with 30 points, including a minimum of minimum of grade 5 in SL Maths Analysis and Approach or 6 in SL Maths Application and Interpretation or 4 in HL Maths Analysis and Approach if not held at GCSE. IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. At least 75% required overall in Higher secondary(12th). Interview required.
