4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
Program Overview:
This four‑year programme includes a preparatory foundation year before progressing to the full BSc Psychology degree. It’s designed for students who don’t meet standard entry requirements or want development before degree‑level study, and is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), providing eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) upon successful completion.
Curriculum Structure
Foundation Year
The first year helps build academic confidence and foundational skills across psychology and related social sciences, including modules in introductory psychology, basic research methods, social science thinking, and interdisciplinary study.
Year One (Degree)
Once you transition to the main programme, you’ll study core areas of psychology including biopsychology, cognition, development, social influences, and quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Year Two
This year includes applied and theoretical study across multiple domains of psychology, with opportunities to focus on areas such as developmental, forensic, or counselling psychology. You’ll also refine your professional skills through employer‑led briefs and workshops.
Year Three
In your final year, you transition into specialist study and independent research. You complete a major empirical project and choose from clinical, developmental, or forensic psychology pathways, depending on your interests.
Placement Year Option
There is the opportunity to take a placement year in industry between Years Two and Three, expanding applied experience and career readiness.

Core psychological science across cognition, brain and behaviour, individual differences and development, alongside optional specialisms in clinical, forensic, or developmental psychology.
