This course is accredited by The British Psychological Society. The curriculum explores the scientific methods used to assess, understand and address various psychological issues - such as depression, psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorder - and the risk factors related to the development of psychopathological disorders. Students build an understanding of counselling and psychotherapy theories, examining the latest advancements and techniques, and exploring the role of empathy, compassion and mindfulness in counselling.
Students should hold the Standard XII with 65% or above. IELTS minimum 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each individual component. 112-128 UCAS tariff points.
