Actor Richard George Whittle is from Britain. In the early 2000s, Whittle initially gained notoriety as a Reebok model. His portrayal of Calvin Valentine in the soap series Hollyoaks has made him well-known in the United Kingdom. He placed second in the BBC reality show Strictly Come Dancing in 2009. When Whittle secured a recurring job on VH-1's Single Ladies in 2012, he made the transition to American television. In 2014, he was cast in a recurring role on ABC's Mistresses.
