3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
Program Overview:
This three-year, BPS-accredited programme integrates psychological science with counselling and psychotherapy principles, designed for students aiming to support emotional wellbeing and personal development. It prepares you for roles in mental health, education or community settings by combining theory, supervised practice, and research.
Curriculum Structure
Year One
In the first year, you'll build a solid foundation in psychology and counselling. You’ll study the basics of psychology—like cognitive, biological, developmental and social perspectives—alongside introductory counselling theory, preparation for practice skills, and psychological research methods, blending academic learning with early exposure to therapeutic frameworks.
Year Two
During year two, the curriculum advances into intermediate areas such as developmental cognition, social psychology applied to communities, and deeper exploration of therapeutic diversity. You’ll gain supervised counselling experience and develop critical skills in ethical practice, assessment, and professional research methods.
Year Three
Your final year allows specialisation and academic independence. Alongside a major psychology dissertation, you’ll study advanced counselling techniques, explore ethical and professional issues in depth, and refine your practice skills—preparing you to transition into professional or postgraduate training roles.
