Program Overview

The BSc (Hons) Psychology course offers an in-depth exploration of human behaviour, covering topics such as child and adult psychology, brain function, social dynamics, and real-world applications of psychological theory. The curriculum is designed to reflect the breadth of the discipline, including cognitive psychology, neuroscience, developmental psychology, and social psychology.

This degree not only prepares students for further professional training in psychology but also equips them with transferable skills valued across a wide range of careers. The programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), and students complete an empirical research project in their final year. Graduates who achieve at least second-class honours and pass this project are eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the BPS—a key step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
