Political and social issues dominate domestic and international news, impacting on our day-to-day lives as coursell as shaping the future.The course provides a thorough training in the major areas of political science and sociology, investigating the different kinds of social tensions, interactions and networks that make up everyday life. Offered at Essex by two of the UK s leading social science departments, these two disciplines are fundamentally linked. Through developing your understanding of both fields, you explore and address the broadest questions about our society.
Should have atleast A Level or equivalent(ABB, or the equivalent in UCAS tariff points, to include 2 full A Levels), BTEC qualification-MMP (in relevant subject), International Baccalaureate Diploma and Certificates,IB: 32 points or three Higher Level certificates with 655,QAA-approved Access to HE Diplomas, a minimum of two full A-levels and five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or equivalent, you'll be required to write a personal statement UCAS application, Certified copy of your complete list of grade, IELTS score of 6.0 overall , TOEFL (iBT) with 76 overall, with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing, PTE 51 overall, with a minimum of 51 in each component, A score of 169 overall on the Cambridge English Scale, with a minimum of 162 in each component.
