There's probably lots of careers you've never really thought much about: private dance school owner, dance scientist, teacher, dance specialist, dance movement therapist, freelance choreographer, outreach work, dance physiotherapist just to name a few. There are even lots of different types of performance, from stage to holiday camps, from the real world to online. Our highly practical course focuses on dance in the real world. It's a fresh new type of degree, looking beyond just traditional company roles and allowing you to explore all your options and giving you the skills you need to succeed.
104 UCAS Tariff points including a DBS Check.This degree requires previous dance experience equivalent to level 5 (Advanced-Intermediate). This might be from a graded examination, such as from ISTD, IDTA, RAD, BBO, etc, or from a level 3 qualification such as a BTEC or A-level in dance/performing arts with strong dance element. An overall grade of 60% from the Standard XII Higher Secondary School Certificate from the All India Boards. An IELTS of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
