At Essex you combine studying the history and theory of cinema with practical film production, so you don t just critically examine cinema you create it. Your production modules enable you to develop and apply your academic knowledge and understanding of film, refining and enriching your own practical work.Course give you the opportunity to explore film across a broad range of genres, time periods, and regions, from Hollywood, world and independent cinema, to documentaries and television.
Should have atleast A Level or equivalent(ABB, or the equivalent in UCAS tariff points, to include 2 full A Levels), IB: 32 points or three Higher Level certificates with 655,BTEC qualification-MMP (in relevant subject), International Baccalaureate Diploma and Certificates,QAA-approved Access to HE Diplomas, a minimum of two full A-levels and five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, or equivalent, you'll be required to write a personal statement UCAS application, Certified copy of your complete list of grade, IELTS score of 6.0 overall, TOEFL (iBT) with 76 overall, with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing, PTE 51 overall, with a minimum of 51 in each component, A score of 169 overall on the Cambridge English Scale, with a minimum of 162 in each component.
