Students study Fundamentals of Accounting (ACT 205), Introduction to Agribusiness Entrepreneurship (AREC 224), and Agricultural and Resource Enterprise Analysis (AREC 305), learning how to evaluate business performance, identify entrepreneurial opportunities, and make strategic management decisions.

Year 3: Students deepen their understanding of agricultural markets, marketing, and economic analysis through advanced coursework. Subjects including Food and Agricultural Markets (AREC 310), Agricultural and Resource Product Marketing (AREC 311), and Intermediate Microeconomics (ECON 306) develop expertise in market analysis, consumer behavior, pricing strategies, and data-driven decision-making, while Professional Selling (MKT 362) enhances communication and sales skills.

Year 4: The final year emphasizes strategic management, finance, agricultural policy, and professional preparation. Students complete Agricultural Business Management (AREC 428), Senior Seminar in Agricultural and Resource Economics (AREC 492), and advanced electives such as Agricultural Finance (AREC 408), Agricultural Commodities Marketing (AREC 412), or Agricultural Policy (AREC 478), allowing them to specialize while integrating their knowledge to address real-world agribusiness challenges.
