Program Overview

The Animal/Equine Science Specialty Option at Murray State University meets the prerequisite requirements for entry into chiropractic school. Students will receive hands-on experienceworking with animals. Course work with highlight animal behavior, diseases, physiology, nutrition and genetics. Additionally, agribusiness based courses prepare students to manage a chiropractic clinic. Training in various areas of Animal/Equine Science can prepare the student for employment in many fields and a variety of positions. In fact there are over 500 distinct occupations in animal agriculture. Some of the opportunities include science, teaching, agricultural services, allied industries, manufacturing and production.

High School Diploma OR Graduation Certificate, Transcripts for all years of high school with a minimum GPA of 2.0, Minimum SAT score of 910 with minimum of 450 on Reading section, Degree from a secondary school located in a country where English is the native language, British / Cambridge International Examinations: GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, AICE, or the HIGCSE certificate with five O-Level subject passes, TOEFL ibT of 71 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 16, IELTS 6.0 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 5.0
