Program Overview

The Housing Management and Policy major at UGA focuses on the socio-economic aspects of housing with special emphasis given to housing needs and the manner in which the family, the private sector, and government policy respond to those needs. The program features an in-depth study of housing finance and the range of housing alternatives with course work including study of sales (leasing), mortgages, accounting, community development, human resources, technology services, legal issues, training, and management.
