Program Overview

This new major at BSC blends visual design with the study of how architecture impacts society with a goal of preparing students for graduate school in architecture and urban studies or for work in urban planning, community development, and more. You'll take art and art history courses along with required and recommended courses in math, physics, sociology, and urban environmental studies, and a hands-on semester doing set design, You'll also do an internship with a local architecture firm and a senior capstone project in architectural studies focused on community development and creative problem-solving.
