Program Overview

Ceramics at Murray State covers a broad range of clay working, including traditional approaches such as hand-building and wheel-throwing, along with mold making, casting, and the emerging fields of 3D ceramic printing and photographic image transfer. Students are exposed to utilitarian as well as purely sculptural approaches to clay, and are allowed to choose their focus as they move through the curriculum and develop their work.

High School Diploma OR Graduation Certificate, Transcripts for all years of high school with a minimum GPA of 2.0, Minimum SAT score of 910 with minimum of 450 on Reading section, Degree from a secondary school located in a country where English is the native language, British / Cambridge International Examinations: GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, AICE, or the HIGCSE certificate with five O-Level subject passes, TOEFL ibT of 71 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 16, IELTS 6.0 minimum on Academic Test with no band less than 5.0
