4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
The UCSB Department of Film and Media Studies began as a small film studies program in 1973, comprised of interdepartmental faculty and visiting lecturers. The department now includes internationally recognized scholars, filmmakers, curators, and educators. It also is the home of the journals Camera Obscura, Screening Noir, and the long-running AFI Routledge book series, edited by Edward Branigan and Charles Wolfe.
